What is included in the price?
The rental price of Malena Rent a Car includes all mandatory charges regarding to the selected criteria you have filled in when booking.

- Value Added Tax or any other local tax
- Replacement of the car in case of accident
- Drivers and co-drivers helmet
- Unlimited Mileage
- City Map / useful information.
Payment process:
For booking confirmation, you will be sent an E-mail asking you to pay in advance the 50% of the total amount, up to one month prior to booking. The rest will be paid once you have picked up the car/vehicle on the island of Syros.

Acceptable driver age:
Minimum age for renting a car in category B is 23 years and for categories C – D 25 years. For 50cc mopeds in category M – AM the minimum age is 21 years and for 125cc and above in category A1 – A2 – A 23 years For all categories you require a minimum experience of one year. From 70 years and above you require mixed insurance.Driving License Requirements:
For the process of renting your car we need a valid European Driving License issued at least one year or an international driving license for citizens outside the European Union.Additional charges

Fuel Policy: The rented vehicle is delivered to you with a certain amount of fuel. You must return it with the same level of fuel, otherwise you are burdened with the difference.
Fines and penalties: During the rental period of the vehicle (contract period), you are liable for road fines or parking calls for the specific vehicle on the island of Syros.
Transfer by boat Only with the prior written approval of SYROS MALENA rentals. No damages to the rented vehicle during transportation will be covered by any insurance.
Changing the type of vehicle The company has the right, depending on availability, to provide a different type of vehicle than the original one with a corresponding, or higher, category.
Cancellation / Change Policy
- We accept any cancellation of a vehicle fifteen (15) days prior to your arrival, with charge VAT and Bank fees.
- For any cancellation in less than fifteen (15) days, 30% of the total rent is withheld.
- Change arrival time/date and car category can be made up to 24 hours before the rental or to the change to be made.
